Louis Tenenbaum

We are pleased to have Louis Tenenbaum as our expert in Aging in Place and Universal Design. Louis is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) and a Certified Active Adult Specialist (CAASH), and a member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) 2007 Aging in Place Council. Louis is a member of the executive committee of the Department of Education, NIDDRR funder Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center (RERC) on Universal Design in the built environment and chair of the Business Advisory Panel.
Louis also works to make his community better. He has been involved with the Montgomery County, MD senior provider network, the Grass Roots Organization for Seniors (GROWS), Prince William County, Howard County, and Montgomery county visitability efforts. He is past president of Yachad and founded their Ramp It Up ramp camp program for high school students.
